A couple of weeks ago True Skool and the Motion Disorderz Crew held a pretty fresh event at the amazing Milwaukee Art Museum as a part of their MAM After Dark and thankfully the cameras were rolling. Adam “Aboogiano” Bowman, one of the budding film makers in Milwaukee in general, got a lot of great footage and put it together for your enjoyment…and I mean, who doesn’t enjoy watching breakers do their thing…especially on the beautiful marble floor?!

Dana Coppafeel, does what every rapper should be doing…he keeps himself busy recording new music and doing videos. Coppa’s latest video endeavor is with his Rockford, IL based Covert Empire friends Ryebread and Ayvee. Check out “Ooo Baby”.
Here is a new video from Taste Emcee, Viva Fidel.
KingHellBastard has just released a pretty damn fresh music video for their song “I Believe” that features Raashan Ahmad…the single and my favorite track from their new EP, Remember The Name. DNA, one of the emcees in the group, is the director of the video.

In support of his album Living in Technocolor that was released a couple of months ago (now available for purchase here – http://www.houseofmutants.com/living), Raze has released a new single from the album called “Blue Collar” (featuring A.P.R.I.M.E.) that delivers the sentiment many people have about being at work…that they’d rather be somewhere else.
The music video for “Blue Collar” is a funny interpretation of the song, showing the sense of humor Raze has, live, in color.
Here is the video:
Recently a couple of videos hit the world-wide web that I thought I’d put up while enjoying my vacation in the lovely (highly overrated) Wisconsin Dells.
Haz Solo is a fool..and really working on becoming a master of his domain (no Seinfeld) when it comes to music. Watch him do odd stuff on his new voyeuristic video “Villa de la Villain”
Last, but certainly not least, we have UMG’s battle rapper Yo-Dot, and his massacre of a man named Oxymoron…whom he faced in the first Milwaukee based Grind Time Now event (shouts to Dana Coppa for getting it together). Mr. Yola tosses a couple vicious and impressive lines at his opponent. Keep your ears and eyes open for news about Yo-Dot’s album…I believe the title is The Ultrasound…coming sometime in the near future (winter or spring I’m guessing).
Well, that’s it for now. It’s time to go play some mini-golf. I will battle ANYBODY in mini-golf. *Shots fired*
(**Note: The song at the beginning by KHB can be heard in the post previous to this one…go and peep it.)

And the Proph train keeps on a’chuggin. He has released another new music video.
Here is “A Little Mo”, directed by Rubin Whitmore II.
I know that it’s not technically the weekend yet as of the time that I’m posting this (before noon on Friday) but I’m sure the weekend is on everyone’s mind so with THAT in mind I’m going to deliver my newest edition of “It’s The Weekend”.
In keeping with the tradition of providing for you club/trap/crunk for your weekend enjoyment, here is a new video for a new song by Genre…a group that I featured on the blog several weeks ago. The name of the song is “I’m My Own Boss” (directed by Aboogiano, co-founder of V.I.B.E.S. Multimedia…who also did Genre’s video for “Almost There”).
So until the weekend hits for you, you can listen to this song and daydream about moving keys and being a entrepeneur, and then keep it rolling to the clubs…if Milwaukee isn’t completely flooded by tonight that is. Y’all stay safe out there.

Summerfest likes to pick some of the performers that play Big Gig to interview and capture moments of their set. Milwaukee Hip-Hop’pers The Lab Experiment, Kid Cut Up & DJ Madhatter, were among the many video tapped this year. Here are the interviews.

Also, Prophetic grabbed some footage of his performance and experience from Summerfest this year. Here it is.
I know that KingHellBastard was interviewed but that hasn’t popped up yet so hopefully it will soon…you just know they will have something interesting to say.

It’s the weekend once again.
Have you ever wondered what the rap life consisted of? Here’s your answer.
A. Boogiano of V.I.B.E.S. Multimedia directed the video.
