One of the universal things we can all appreciate is the concept of taking a laundry day. We have all been in one of those positions where we need to hit the neighborhood spot or the machines our building has provided for us. For those of you who are more financially stable, you may have a laundry section in your house you escape to.
If you are like me, I need to do laundry to music because I refuse to get caught up in Days of our Lives (I type this as Days is on my TV right now and Stephano is pissed about something). Well, thanks to theOTHERSIDE and Haz Solo, you now have something you can rock while doing laundry…if you can do laundry under 20 minutes.
The Laundry Day EP is a fun collection of 6 tracks that is very much in the vein of the neo-nineties movement taking place in the underground. The samples are tasty and the drums are crisp. The rhymes are solid as Keno and Haz go back and forth showing that rapping is easy for them. The tracks are produced by Wallsauce with cuts on a couple of tracks by DJ Jun.
I have heard music from Keno the OS and Haz Solo before…as a matter of fact I have 1 of their previous tracks on my hard drive right now.
Representing Sacramento, Milwaukee, and North Carolina, this jawn is worth downloading and listening to at least two times consecutively. This shit is dope, plain and simple. Quote me.
